Graphite Portrait of President George W. Bush

I was commissioned recently to create a portrait of our 43rd President. A non-disclosure agreement prevents me from discussing the client or the drawing's usage, but there's no problem sharing the completed piece here. I have done portraits of many American Presidents over the years...some more that once. I have enjoyed drawing most of them and spending several hours with this guy was not my least favorite Presidential experience. He does seem to have a twinkle in his eyes. His retirement seems to agree with him...and it works for me too.
